MediaBooks is where you can find accountants with a creative streak. What started as a bookkeeper helping with a bit of marketing at a boutique CPA firm, has turned into a web design agency that provides services to thriving accountants.
MediaBooks was founded in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. While not the best time to start any business, it created a solid foundation and resourceful mindset that allowed for new and unexpected opportunities.
By focusing all efforts on the accounting industry, MediaBooks is able to tailor its services to the unique needs of accountants. Whether that is helping you simplify your services page or designing a client portal to increase your services value.

Meet The Team
Kristen Corey
Founder of MediaBooks
After obtaining her Bachelors and Masters in accounting, Kristen went into public accounting where she became an auditor. It wasn’t until she had the opportunity to move abroad that she began to do marketing work for entrepreneurs.
She quickly gained experience working with industries including tech, fashion, legal, real estate, and even a high-end chocolate brand. Her experience grew from doing PR, graphic design, inbound marketing, social media management, to website development.
Upon returning back from overseas she was hired by a boutique accounting company to work as both an accountant and marketer.
This is when she found combining her two favorite industries wasn’t just possible but needed, Kristen decided to start a marketing agency dedicated to helping accounting firms.
Kristen is currently servicing out of Alamogordo, NM.
Alix K. Reedy
Account Manager
Alix graduated with a BS in Hospitality Management. After a few years of working as the Operations Manager at a catering company in Miami, she moved to Chicago and brought her managerial skills and experience to a major corporation.
Today, Alix and her husband have moved back to Miami, where she runs a Virtual Assistant business, providing freelance services to companies like MediaBooks. She has a love for systems and an eye for detail. She helps with our podcast as well as all things admin and marketing.
Alix is currently in the process of converting a school bus into an RV. She will continue to work remotely with her clients while traveling around the U.S. with her husband and their dog.
